ABWA 2009-2010 Goals
The following are the proposed goals for the
August 2009-July 2010 year. They will be open
for discussion and accepted upon final
approval by the chapter.
In keeping with the National Mission Statement, our Chapter mission is to increase
the networking abilities of all our members by promoting both business and personal
relationships between members; enhance the skills/abilities of our members through
social, business and educational functions; and provide opportunities for women
in our chapter and community to better themselves through education.
I. Increase membership
by attracting 20 new members.
II. Improve retention of existing members by increasing the number of renewals by
10 members.
III. Increase the number of chapter members that attend local, district, and national
conferences by having at least 10 members attend Tri-County conference and a total
of 15 members attend national and district conferences.
IV. Increase the networking opportunities for members by hosting a local networking
event each quarter.
V. Increase member involvement in chapter leadership and operations by recruiting
the active participation of at least 10 additional members in committees and/or
events.
VI. Achieve the Level I Best Practices designation awarded by ABWA National.
VII.
Increase the number of chapter members that attend and participate in meetings and
quarterly events for the Tri-County Council.
